Logitech C920x HD Pro Webcam
C920x makes sense when the requirement is a straightforward external webcam with an attached USB-A connection, autofocus HD 1080p lens, dual microphones, and a conventional monitor/laptop clip. It is not a reason to replace a camera that already meets your call or recording requirements.

Those facts do not establish low-light quality, microphone quality, autofocus behavior in your room, or compatibility with every conferencing/recording application. Those are workflow questions, not safe assumptions from the spec sheet.
Fit check
Check the connection and placement before buying.
If the computer is USB-C-only, plan for a compatible USB-A adapter or hub. Do not assume every low-cost adapter exposes the same USB mode.
An external webcam helps most when it lets you put the lens where you want it. Check monitor thickness and whether the clip or tripod thread suits your placement.
A webcam cannot create light that is not present. Improve face lighting and camera angle before upgrading solely for image quality.
Do you need it?
Buy only if it solves a specific camera problem.
Your built-in camera placement or quality is inadequate, USB-A is available or adaptable, and HD 1080p is sufficient for the intended calls/recording.
You need 4K capture, higher-frame-rate production modes, interchangeable lenses, hardware zoom, or controls beyond this webcam class.
If the current camera looks bad because it is below eye level or the face is poorly lit, solve that before replacing hardware.

Fix camera height, lighting, distance, and audio before assuming resolution is the bottleneck.
