Streaming + content

Streaming / content creator

Streams live or die on audio and framing, not GPU. Fix camera height, front light, and mic distance before spending on a second PC.

PC / console / handheld

Single-PC works up to 1080p60 on modern GPUs. Only go dual-PC when the main PC actually chokes.

Monitor

Second monitor for chat + OBS. Keep the main gaming panel color-accurate for facecam framing.

Webcam

Camera height and front light matter more than resolution. Get to eye level first.

Key light

One even light on your face beats three background lights. Aim for soft, diffuse, and slightly above eye level.

Streaming / capture

Dedicated capture removes CPU load from the main PC. Not needed for single-PC 1080p streams.

Microphone

Broadcast-style dynamic beats condenser at home. Rejects keyboard clack.

Mic arm / mount

A boom arm gets the mic close to your mouth without eating desk space.

Headset / speakers

Closed-back over-ears prevent mic bleed. Wireless is only fine if latency is low.

Power + cable management

PC + monitor + capture + lights + camera adds up fast. Watch total wattage.
