Input / keyboard

Keep the numpad only when it earns the desk width.

The Keychron V6 Max is a flexible full-size mechanical keyboard for people who want a numpad, hot-swappable switches, and serious remapping without moving to an aluminum premium board.

Keychron V6 Max — black, Gateron Jupiter Banana

100% gasket-mount keyboard · Amazon ASIN B0D14LQ9XW

Full size2.4 GHz + BluetoothQMK / hot-swap
Why it fits

It combines a conventional numpad layout with wired, 2.4 GHz, and Bluetooth modes, hot-swappable switches, and QMK/VIA remapping. That is unusually adaptable for a work-and-gaming full-size board.

Tradeoff

A 100% board consumes much more horizontal space than TKL or 75% layouts, pushing the mouse farther right. The tall mechanical case may also make a palm rest useful for some users.

Check before buying

Measure 447.9 mm of keyboard width on your desk, test whether that mouse position keeps your shoulder relaxed, and verify the selected switch, keycap, knob, and color variant before checkout.

Documented facts

Keychron lists a 100% gasket-mount layout, 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless, wired USB-C, QMK/VIA support, hot-swappable sockets, a 4,000 mAh battery, and 447.85 × 140.55 mm dimensions.[1]

Skip it when

Skip it if your numpad is rarely used, mouse room is tight, you want a low-profile board, or you do not want to manage mechanical-switch and firmware choices.
