Desk power
Should the power strip clamp to your desk?
The Anker Nano A9196 makes sense when power access and loose cords are the problem. Its clamp is also the main compatibility test: measure the desktop and edge before treating it as a general-purpose power strip.

Anker Nano Power Strip (10-in-1, 70W, Clamp)

It puts 6 AC outlets, 2 USB-C ports, and 2 USB-A ports at the desk edge while the clamp keeps the unit from sliding during normal plug and unplug actions. This is most useful when a floor-mounted strip is hard to reach or leaves cords hanging loosely.
The USB ports share a 70W total budget. Anker says USB-C2 output is reduced when several USB ports are active and recommends using an AC outlet for laptops that need more than 45W during multi-port charging.
Measure the desktop thickness and edge angle, then confirm there is enough space below the edge for the 2.61-inch lower section. Anker specifies 0.6–1.8-inch surfaces and edges no steeper than 45 degrees, and does not recommend glass.
Anker lists 6 AC outlets, 2 USB-C, 2 USB-A, 1,500J surge protection, 125V / 15A input, 1,875W AC output, and 70W maximum total USB output. Overall dimensions are 6.02 × 2.06 × 3.97 in.
Skip it for glass, an edge outside the stated thickness or angle range, a desk with too little underside clearance, or a setup that needs high USB-C output from several ports at once. A conventional under-desk strip is simpler when you do not need edge access.
